Our New Man in Houston

The new UK Consul General in Houston is  Paul Lynch.

He has been transferred from Japan to take over from Judith Slater as the U.K. representative in South-west America.

Mr Lynch joined the British Civil Service in 1991 and worked in the Home Office and the Cabinet Office in London before joining the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1996.

His first overseas post was in the UK Embassy in Tokyo and he was H.M.

Consul General and Commercial Consul in Osaka before being moved to Houston to promote British trade and investment interests in the U.S. states of Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Arkansas, Colorado and Oklahoma.
