FORMER LORD PROVOST TO HEAD GHA

Former Lord Provost of Aberdeen, Councillor John M. Reynolds is the new Chairman of the Grampian-Houston Association. He has been elected to succeed Raymond G. Bisset O.B.E. who has completed two years as Chairman.

Replacing Councillor Reynolds as Vice Chairman is Aberdeenshire Councillor Ron McKail.

Mr Reynolds was a popular Lord Provost of Aberdeen from 2003-07 and he has served as an elected Councillor since 1986.

He was born in Blackpool and moved to Aberdeen in 1969 to take up a post in cinema management.
